Any potential grinds organised MUST use our online system to deliver the classes. We do this for a variety of reasons, the main ones being for safety and security. Safety from packed classrooms, safety from long cycles or drives to grinds on wet nights, and personal safety and security assured. We could not allow potentially anonymous tutors into your house. We will have to make sure that the potential tutor has the correct credentials to be around schoolchildren, so we insist on online delivery. All classes will be recorded and stored on our private servers as a memorial of the class. This can also help us in trying to investigate any potential later disagreement about quality of service, agreement to pay, evidence of online bullying, etc.
The classes will also be available to students, as a study aid, for their duration with Scotia Academy.
If you organise a grind outside of the above advice, Scotia Academy will not be held responsible for any liability or concern arising from that choice.
